January 31st - Heermann's Gull


I'm pretty sure this is a Heermann's Gull. They are prettier, in my opinion, than the standard gull that is seen around here. They also seem to be coming around more often. :)

Happy end of the month! Yay, the challenge is over! Now, what to pick for my final h2h photo?!?

    He does look pretty, especially with that brilliant red beak against the blue water. Congrats on finishing the challenge! I had lots of fun looking at your photos :) Don't worry about the h2h photo, inspiration will come. At least, that's what I'm telling myself :)

    This needs to be seen bigger to get a better view, what a lovely shot!

    He's very smart with that red eye and beak, in full view you can see the feathers.
    A great pic to finish up a hard months slog, I've so enjoyed seeing your part of our stunning world.

    Hi!

    Sorry to bug you this way, but as I got excommunicated at Worth1000 because of raising "bad questions" (I have yet to understand what that could be and asked the board to tell me, but haven't gotten any response yet) I want to thank you for the nice shoot in January. Wish I could have played in that HxH tournament, but as the admins decided my questions had been too harsh and dangerous for the moral and integrity of the Worth community, it's sadly not going to happen.

    Enjoy your time at w1k and be careful what you ask, and where…
