January 23rd - Tortoise



My neighbor's Tortoise was out today. :) The rain has stopped for a while and the sun shone today, so I'm sure this guy was pleased! It's kind of difficult to see, but it's eating the grass and has a mouthful here. I forgot to mention, I think he looks to be about 2 to 2 1/2 feet long (.61 - .76 m) to me.

    wow, really.. I mean I've heard people had turtles, but this one is huge! It looks big enough to eat up all the lawn :-)

    He's huge! We have turtles but they're just up to a foot long.

    That is one big tortoise. I stayed with friends in England who had three and they had other ones to stay. They were about a foot long and just out of hibernation when I was there, thanks for bringing back memories.
