August 23rd - Sea lions




I was at the coast guard pier, today, and found these guys stinking the place up something awful, but they're so cute! :)

    They sure are cute! What a great photo, especially of that one in the middle looking back at you upside-down! Always nice to see someone else who can tell seals and sea lions apart, too. ;)

    We have some here, that I photograph all the time, and it is amazing how many scars these guys have...you just don't think about that when looking at nature shots.

    I'm trying to decide whether I like the inclusion of the boat in the background or not, but have decided that I think it is good. It gives some context to them. The timing on their poses is really good. Well done!
