This is the Seven Gables Inn, on the corner of Fountain and Ocean View in Pacific Grove, CA. It's huge, this is only one of the buildings. You can't see it in the photo, but to the right, just after the side of the road is the Pacific Ocean. It seems like a wonderful place to stay. I've never been inside the building, but I think it's beautiful.

Wow very impressive.
You should go in for a coffee or tea. That's what we do when we see interesting buildings and are curious. Even the Hilton in Budapest was not too expensive for just a coffee and of course a walk around when looking for the bathroom ;) The interesting thing about the Budapest Hilton is ancient (roman, medieval) remains made visible in parts of the building.
It looks like it is built in a hilly area, which makes it all the more impressive.

Wow, great shot. Love all the angles between the building, the road and the cars. It makes it all feel like it has been a bit haphazardly thrown there, and yet landed all nicely arranged! Good find!
