August 30th - Connections



This statue is called, "Connections." It's a mother and child. I like it.

This speaks on so many levels, the strength of the familial bond in the bronze, the circle of life that resembles a heart shape, the absolute connection at the top as opposed by the clean break at the bottom.

I have a much smaller one that's not quite the same, but similar, from Africa. They are very endearing. Great shot of it!
