Very effective. You've captured great detail and I think the border goes just great with it.
I'm trying to decide whether I think the border goes with it or not. It's a nice one, but I really like the stark simplicity of the image and the border kinda busy's it up a bit...
Um, yeah.. its creepy! Crown of thorns was the first thing that jumped into my head... OUCH!
Those babies could compete with Mesquite thorns any day! :)
