The one in the front has black dots in it's belly, and the other two do not. I hope that means we'll be getting some baby shrimp, soon! :) (And, hopefully some of them will not get eaten!)

July 9th - Shrimp
I got some new fish for my 100 gallon aquarium the other day, and I picked up 3 of these shrimp while I was there, too, to help clean the gravel. They like to hide under the plants, and I was having trouble getting a good shot of them through the water, but today these two were darn near up against the glass! I was able to get a very close, clear picture of them. :) Good thing they're not that active in the daytime. The fish always swim too fast for my camera!

Wow - I didn't know shrimp were so transparent. Really good shot. I've tried to shoot through aquarium glass before and it never turns out this good.

Actually, no, it's freshwater. Didn't know there were freshwater shrimp? There are clams, too. :)
This looks like a made up creature - I love it! You could write a book about his adventures sneaking into places almost invisibly :)
I saw this earlier today and see no issue with the way you shot it through the glass, nice work. I believe this is called a "Ghost Shrimp"? ;)
I love aquariums, but just took ours down last week after about 12 years. The last of the school carnival goldfish finally bit the dust. Who knew they could live 6,7,8 years????
I didn't know about these shrimp - they're really neat. Maybe we'll see some more of your fish in the days to come?
