January 19th - Moss on a log and Snow White
This is moss on a log in my yard. My hubby brought home some firewood, and this was on one of the logs. I thought it was neat. It's not as green as it is in real life, although I did try to boost the green a tad.
And there's a bonus shot for today:
Here's a "Snow White" Chrysanthemum from my yard. They're itty-bitty, like small daisies. Maybe 1 1/2 inches across. It's hard to see, but there are rain drops there. We had thunder and lightning three times, so far, today! That's rare for us!! :) Sorry it's a bit blurry. I still think it's pretty.

I first thought you had said there was a mouse on the log, and I was looking for it everywhere thinking it was very tiny, I was blind, or it just wasn't a very good picture of a mouse, which is of course what it turned out to be. It's a great picture of moss though. The texture is lovely.
And the tiny bonus is so pretty and delicate. Well done.
Oh, I love that type of moss on trees. It is an extra bonus of texture that is just such a soft green but a pretty green. The tiny flower is pretty too. Good work!
You've captured the moss on the log beautifully. I also like the similarly mossed log in the background. The shallow depth of field makes me look through the image to see all the details!
Nice detail on the log shot and you've managed to make the flower really pop. It's a pretty little thing.
