January 19th - Seagull in flight


I'm sorry today's picture isn't a very good one. I love the gull, but the wires have got to go. I just didn't have time today, so had to go with the best of what I was able to get, unfortunately. :P

The wires would not be easy to photoshop out either. Apart from the wires though, this is a very nicely compositioned photograph.

If you'd have said you'd taken the picture with the wires in shot deliberately I'd have gone with you on it as a "Man intruding on nature" type of thing. I think it would have quite well in that context, but since you've told us the lines are not part of the picture...

A good action shot of a bird in flight, they can be hard to capture.
Re the wires, you can always zap them in PS when you have some spare time.

Great timing to get the gull in a good composition with the tree, but the lines are a bit of a distraction. Doesn't man mess things up?
