January 22nd - Sweet Pea
It rained almost all night last night, and I am not feeling well today, so I took another shot from my garden. This is a sweet pea flower, and it smells so good! :) Cliche, or what?! They bloom around here pretty much year 'round.
Sorry about the blurry leaf on the top, but I loved the droplets on the stem so much I just had to choose this one.

The water drops add so much to this picture. Your capture makes the flower look so delicate and fragile with the soft colours. I'm glad it rained for you last night :-)
And I hope you feel heaps better real soon.
LOL! I was just thinking - this is so lovely and cliche!! Then I read your comment. But what I meant was its a beautiful image, cliche or not.
I say pffffft to chiche!
It may be cliche but it's still so gorgeous, I adore sweet peas. Their fragrance is delicate and so dainty.
The rain drops add such sparkle to the photo, so please take more cliche shots, I insist!
You are right about the leaf at the top but the diagonal and the droplets make up for the blurry leaf. Nice detail and the drops are beautiful.
This if wonderful. I love all the water drops. Sweet and innocent.
This is absolutely gorgeous! The droplets are stunning and the diagonal that the little stem makes across the frame is just lovely. Very nice work!
Did Craig and I give you our colds? So very sorry! Get well soon! The sweet pea is lovely with the water droplets.
Well, if flowers are cliche, up with cliches. They still make absolutely lovely pictures and this one is included. Sweet peas are so . . . sweet. And you have captured that here.
I wish you could have just got those droplets on the stem, that would have been a magical picture!
