January 24th - Skully Bones

The water was green today, at the Coast Guard Pier in Monterey.

The boat in the far left background of the previous picture but front and center of this one, is the "Skully Bones." It's green. :)

Here's a closeup of the boat, although it's kind of hard to see (at least on my screen) how green it is. You all get three shots today, because I'm just not happy with any one of them to have it be the only one.

A lovely set of three photos. Your gallery really adds interest because the photos are so varied.

Oh the third one, you should have chosen that!

I really like the serenity of the first one! The lines and angles created by the docks and the color of the water just give a very peaceful feel!

Great timing with that seagull! And that top shot with the green water is just so calm and serene.

The three of them go together well. Skully Bones looks a fun boat, definitely a fun name!

I like these as a set, so I think you did well to put all three out for us. Lovely peaceful scenes between all of them, and a good way to find greens. Nice one.

The Skully Bones has a great story behind it, I crewed on the Bones in 2004. We transited the great passage on Feb 3rd 2004. made port in Zihjautneo on the 14th, and 3 other port calls enroute to Sausalito.
