September 30th - Notebook

I had this little brown notebook that was a little too plain, so I doctored it up with some green and white paper, and rubber stamps. I think it turned out really cute! :)

That's it for my month of cell phone pictures. It was fun, but the month is over. I've learned a lot about the capabilities of my LG Neon phone camera. I don't know when I'll post another photo, probably next week, though, because I'm going to go to Point Lobos with a friend. Have a great week! :)

January 20th - Salinas River State Beach

This is next to the Salinas River State Beach, in Moss Landing, Ca. If I'm not mistaken, this is part of the Elkhorn Slough, but I'm not really sure of that. I just loved this scene. However, I think it could have turned out better. Oh, well.

January 16th - Red Wing Blackbird

I saw this guy at Lake El Estero, today, in Monterey. I like their call. He's a cute little fella, ain't he? :)

October 30th -

Jay in a mossy Redwood tree, in N. Ca, August 2007. I know it's a bit blurry, but I still really like it. I do wish it had come out better, though.

August 15th - Blackbird

Although you can't see it in this picture, this poor bird has fishing line wrapped around his legs. He could still walk a little, but mostly just hopping. I took this at the aquarium, a few weeks ago. I told the staff about him, but by the time someone came, (which was rather quickly, btw) he had flown up into a tree. :(
Anyway, I actually shot this during the 30 day challenge, but didn't use it because his tail is cut off in the picture. That bugged me. I still really like this one, except the fishing line, of course.

July 2nd - Goose

This goose let me get really close to him. There were well over a hundred geese at the lake today, all in the same area, and only one was white (the rest were Canadian Geese). My hubby told me one time, that he was talking to this guy at the lake who said he is the only person this white goose will let pet him. My daughter and I tried to get close enough to him, but he didn't let us get closer than about 3 feet. That was close enough for a pretty good shot of him, anyway. No, we didn't get bit. :D
