This is a convent off of Hwy 1, just past Rio Rd. in Carmel, Ca. Isn't it pretty? They've got a fantastic ocean view. Where I was standing was on the side of the freeway, and directly behind me is a beach.
That leads me to today's bonus picture. A Wave!! Wow! ;)

The convent is nice but the wave one is dynamic and the added bits of seaweed in the aquamarine blue powerful surge is just fabulous.
The first pic is very post-cardish. Great shot. But like Isabella I prefer the second shot. It's fantastic. Very well done indeed.

I like them both but the wave really catches my attention. I plan to use those colors in my bedroom and master bath in my new home and would happily hang that photo on my wall
The church is very pretty. I had to double check I wasn't in Capriccio's blog. Very picture-postcard. But I love the power and action in the wave shot. It's got lots of appeal!

The convent is beautiful. I also like the wave...how you can see through it at the bottom where the surf is surging back. Looks very cool.

Not on Flickr, because I'm angry with them at the moment. I was given a Pro account "for as long as I'm a Yahoo subscriber," when they canceled Yahoo photos. Then this month they decided to downgrade my (and others I guess) account for no apparent reason. I'm quite annoyed. I have a few photos there, but none of this kind of stuff, and nothing public, I think.
The convent is pretty and would make a nice postcard, I too love the wave and the layers of colours in the shot.
