January 20th - Salinas River State Beach

This is next to the Salinas River State Beach, in Moss Landing, Ca. If I'm not mistaken, this is part of the Elkhorn Slough, but I'm not really sure of that. I just loved this scene. However, I think it could have turned out better. Oh, well.

What a tranquil capture! It has a lovely calming effect with that still water and the one bird on the water. A very peaceful sight for the eyes.

Great calm and relaxing scene. The foreground bird (Stork? Crane? Heron?) brings a real feeling of anticipation to the shot. We know it's waiting to find a fish and now, we'll wait with it.

I think it's a lovely quiet scenic shot, the one main bird draws the eyes to it down in the corner.
Blissful!

Gee, you're sure you did this with your camera? Looks like a painting and wants me to get another cup of tea :) Very chilling…

I love this shot. Great capture not only of the silhouetted bird but also of the flying one at the upper left. And the scene itself is amazing. Well done!
