I took a picture of my (crowded) pot of spring mix lettuce this morning so I could practice with borders (Thanks, Cap for the ideas!). I really like how this one turned out. :) A good border can make even a blah picture look snazzy.
The real task, though, is going to be trying to thin these out without killing any. My daughter and I put too many seeds in the pot, obviously. :P

Beautiful picture and the frame is absolutely lovely!
I always plant too much lettuce too - just snip off the extras at ground level with your fingernal. The little sprouts go great in sandwiches!

Love it! And dang girl, you're making me hungry. :)
The border is stunning - I especially love how you chose a wonderful green that matches the photo perfectly. :)
Lovely-looking seedlings! The colours are so nice together. The hairs on the middle leaf are wonderfully clear.
At first glance I thought it was some sort of desert succulent. But whatever, the colour mix is great, both on the plants and border. Well done.
Wonderful picture. I'll bring over my cucumbers and tomatoes and we'll have a whole salad!!
Yes, you did well with the border. Very complementary.
